Franklin’s 40th Annual Main Street Festival
March 25, 2024

Spring is here, which means warmer weather, new blossoms, and sunny days—and, of course, the annual Main Street Festival is near!

Drawing over 120,000 visitors each year, the festival is put on by the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, TN, in the heart of historic downtown Franklin. One of the top 20 events in the Southeast according to the Southeast Tourism Society, the Main Street Festival is a fantastic opportunity to appreciate the community, culture, and collaboration of Franklin. This year promises to be better than ever, so be sure you don’t miss out!

A Beloved Annual Tradition

Family-friendly and free to the public, the Main Street Festival marks one of three yearly festivals thrown by the Heritage Foundation. With the mission to preserve and share regional history, local historic places, and signature events, the Foundation plays a powerful role in carrying community traditions. The Main Street Festival is a highlight of the Foundation’s efforts—started nearly 40 years ago, the festival has only grown in size since then, with vendors and attendees flocking the streets of historic Downtown Franklin.

Event Highlights

With live entertainment, food and drinks, and over 150 artisans and craftspeople, there’s no shortage of activities to enjoy for this year’s festival! Public art exhibits and dance performances are among some of the highlights, along with over 30 food vendors for whenever you need to refuel.

Arts & Crafts:
Enjoy art, crafts, and foods ranging from local to international. This year’s festival introduces a Fine Arts Gallery, showcasing works from top artisans.

Family Activities:
The KidsZone returns to entertain with games, arts, and crafts for the whole family. The pet-friendly PetZone also offers a pop-up park to play with your pets or stop by this year’s animal adoptions.

Take the opportunity to show your local shops some love! All Downtown Franklin merchants will be open and showcasing their own specials, with shopping, dining, and entertainment.

This year, the festival will take place April 27 – 28, the fourth full weekend in April. Hours run from 10 AM to 6 PM on both Saturday and Sunday, so be sure to mark your calendars. Local to you, Lineage is as excited for our hometown festival as you are. This year promises to be better than ever, and we’re looking forward to seeing you there!
