New name. Same commitment. Stronger future.

Welcome to Harpeth Bank & Trust.

This transition reflects a renewed commitment to the true spirit of community banking built on meaningful relationships, local decision-making, and a genuine investment in the people and businesses we serve.

As Franklin's only locally chartered bank, Harpeth Bank & Trust is focused on delivering the personalized service customers expect from a community bank while investing in the technology, talent, and capabilities needed to serve a growing Middle Tennessee.

For our customers, the transition will be seamless. Your accounts, loans, debit cards, checks, direct deposits, and online banking services will continue to work exactly as they do today. There is nothing you need to do.

At the same time, this is more than a name change. In the months ahead, customers will see expanded capabilities, new team members, enhanced technology, and a broader commitment to serving communities across the region.

Our vision is to build the community bank of tomorrow where customers never have to choose between trusted relationships and innovative financial tools.

As we transition to the Harpeth Bank & Trust name, you will begin seeing the new brand appear on statements, digital platforms, communications, and branch materials. During this period, you may see both names, which is a normal part of the transition.

The relationships remain. The future is even stronger.

Welcome to the future Harpeth Bank & Trust.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Basics

Q: Why is the bank changing its name?

A: We are entering an exciting new chapter and wanted a name that reflects who we are, where we are rooted, and where we are headed. Harpeth Bank & Trust honors our deep roots in Franklin and Middle Tennessee while reflecting our vision of building the community bank of tomorrow—one built on meaningful relationships, local decision-making, modern banking technology, and an unwavering commitment to the people and businesses we serve.

Q: Is this a sale of my deposits?

A: No, this is the bank changing its name. Your accounts, deposits, and loans remain the same, and your deposits continue to be FDIC-insured up to applicable limits.

Q: I bank at Citizens Bank & Trust in Atwood. What does this mean for me?

A: Very little will change for you. Citizens Bank & Trust will continue serving the Atwood community under the trusted name customers have known for generations. Going forward, Citizens Bank & Trust will operate as a division of Harpeth Bank & Trust, giving customers the benefits of a growing community banking organization while preserving the local relationships and personalized service they value. There is nothing you need to do.

Q: Is the bank still locally owned and operated?

A: Absolutely. Harpeth Bank & Trust remains Franklin's only locally chartered bank and continues to be locally owned and locally managed. Local decision-making, personalized service, and meaningful relationships will remain at the heart of everything we do as we continue growing throughout Middle Tennessee.

Your Accounts, Cards and Checks

Q: Do I need to do anything?

A: No. There is nothing you need to do. You do not need to open a new account, order new checks, or replace your debit card. We'll manage the transition for you and keep you informed every step of the way.

Q: Will my account numbers change?

A: No. Your account and routing numbers will remain the same.

Q: Will my debit card still work? Should I throw it out?

A: Your current debit card will continue to work exactly as it does today. Please keep using it until its normal expiration. When it's time for a replacement, your new card may carry the Harpeth Bank & Trust name, and we'll communicate with you well in advance of any changes.

Q: What about my checks? Should I order new ones or stop using the ones I have?

A: Keep using your current checks. They remain fully valid. When you naturally reorder checks, they may reflect the Harpeth Bank & Trust name, but there is no need to reorder early.

Q: Are my automatic payments, direct deposits, and recurring transfers affected?

A: No. Direct deposits, automatic payments, recurring transfers, and linked accounts will continue without interruption. Your account and routing numbers are not changing.

What You Will See Change

Q: Beyond the new name, what's changing?

A: Harpeth Bank & Trust is investing in the future of community banking. Over time, customers will see expanded banking capabilities, new products and services, enhanced technology, additional experienced bankers, and a broader commitment to serving communities throughout Middle Tennessee. Our goal is to combine the trusted relationships and local decision-making of a community bank with the innovation and convenience customers expect from a modern financial institution.

Q: When will I start seeing the new name?

A: You'll begin seeing the Harpeth Bank & Trust name appear gradually over the coming months on our website, statements, digital banking platforms, signage, and other communications. During this phased transition, you may see both the Lineage Bank and Harpeth Bank & Trust names. That's expected and simply reflects our transition to the new brand.

Q: Will my statements change?

A: Yes. Over time, your statements will begin reflecting the Harpeth Bank & Trust name, but the accounts they represent and the information they contain will remain the same.

Q: Will my online and mobile banking still work?

A: Yes. You'll continue using the same username, password, and login process you use today. As Harpeth Bank & Trust grows, you'll also see ongoing enhancements to our digital banking experience as we continue investing in technology and customer convenience.

Q: I have noticed the bank's email and website addresses changing. Which ones should I use?

A: During the transition, both our current and new website and email addresses will work. Existing addresses will automatically forward to the new ones, so there is no urgency to make any changes. When you're ready, you're welcome to begin using the Harpeth Bank & Trust addresses.
