Q: What are some of your hobbies? What do you do in your free time?
A: I love playing golf, researching about cryptocurrencies, and hanging with my family and friends. My wife Emily and I got married last fall, and we love binge watching TV series together.

Q: Explain your role on the DUI Court Foundation of Williamson County.
A: My main role is to use my past experiences of being a golf professional at The Grove and being around/playing in golf tournaments since I was a kid to help organize and run the annual golf fundraiser, which benefits the DUI Court Foundation of Williamson County.

Q: What got you into the banking industry?
A: During my time working at The Grove, I gave Carl Haynes a few putting lessons. As we got to know each other more, he became a mentor to me, which lead me to start working with him in April of 2019.

Q: Tell us a little about your role with Lineage Bank.
A: I was recently named Manager of Branch Operations. This role entails hiring staff and training our frontline employees, working with customers opening accounts, as well as assisting lenders with anything from cash flows to opening business/personal accounts for their clients.

Q: How has being a student athlete translated into your role with Lineage Bank?
A: My experience as an MTSU golfer translates to my current role at the bank as I help lead a team of people with different strengths and backgrounds toward a common purpose. Additionally, I had to learn how to be both a leader and a follower – taking initiative at times and asking questions/listening at other times.

Q: What is the most rewarding part of your job?
A: The most rewarding part of this job is creating and maintaining great relationships with our customers and knowing they have put their trust in us for all their banking needs.

Q: What is the ultimate goal for your career?
A: Over the next several years, I am going to soak up as much information and learn as many skills as possible, so that one day I can become a very successful lender. However, my ultimate career goal is to be a vital part in running/starting a bank.
